In Green Bay Wisconsin near Vere a truck carrying seven Merommee Indians en route to Door County cherry farms was sideswiped by a second truck. James Summers, 23, was killed and his sister May Dean Summers, 17, was severely injured along with Mrs Seplue King 38 and several others all sustaining arm fractures or severe injuries.
