Three men armed with revolvers and a shotgun robbed the Bank of Dale at 2:30 PM, forcing four inside to the vault where they looted about $14,000 in cash and securities. The bandits fled in a maroon Buick with six wire wheels, license D 129 059, after releasing the hostages ten minutes later. This is the second robbery at the bank in three years.
