Teen in Stabbing Remains Unanswered Why
A 17-year-old former patient walked from Oshkosh to Neenah then to the Koch residence on Breezewood Lane and stabbed Mrs. Koch with a paring knife. He gave investigators details of his movements but could not explain the motive. He cooperated with authorities, wandered through fields, and slept until noon before being found by Neenah police. The youth, a former Winnebago State Hospital patient, was jailed in Winnebago County after admission by Sheriff Lowell.
