Special to The Northwestern. Milwaukee July 3 Patrolman Peter Grier electrocuted on Ivanhoe plate near Lake Drive and Summit Avenue at 3 30 this morning. A torn electric light wire with a rope attached dangled near his body when Allen Smith a millman found it. The wire had been torn from its fastenings by the storm and Grier tried to fasten it to a tree using the rope from the street car barns. The body bore rope imprints on both hands and was not burned.
