Washington D C January 28 George W Perkins of J P Morgan Co and Oakleigh Thorne president of the Trust Company of America testified before a senate judiciary committee about the presidents authority at law for permitting the absorption of the Tennessee Coal and Iron company by the United States Steel Corporation.
