Death of Mrs Mertz in Thirteenth Street Home
Mrs. Matthias C. Mertz of 282 Thirteenth Street died at 12 45 this morning after a week long illness with pneumonia. She would have been twenty five on February 2. Her husband is an alderman from the Thirteenth ward and a well known contractor and builder, with his brother in the firm of Mertz Brothers. Four children survive.
