New Lincoln School bids open with lower base costs
A Tuesday bid opening for the new Lincoln School showed low base bids totaling about 23 000 less than the 535 000 estimated construction cost. The total with site work dropped to 512 328, with bids from eight general contractors, ten HVAC firms, eight plumbing bidders, and six electrical outfits. No contracts were awarded as the board referred bids to the building committee for tabulation.

No Plans to Widen Winnebago Airport Runway
