City Council Eyes Bonds Auto Tax And Street Rules
The Common Council plans informal Thursday night talks on 1968 city and school bond issues and the proposed city automobile tax. No vote on bond resolutions tonight, with school board presenting bonds to planning commission and possible simultaneous action later. Also on the agenda are an auto tax up to nine dollars per vehicle, removal of five year street paving requirement, one hour parking on Court Street, animal care agreement with Oshkosh Humane Society, and resolutions praising departing city staff Bruce Patterson and Donald Eppley.
