Reports from the Ohio river wreck of the Pittshore and Charleston packet Kanawha state the body of Mrs Beezgle of Racine Ohio was recovered early today. Second mate G. El Sisson listed the dead and missing as sixteen. Hope remains for Mr and Mrs W L Hoblitzell and their son, with crews noting no sign of their return at Washington.
Joseph Lucia a 40 year old conductor on the Wisconsin Northern railway was fatally injured near Girard Junction after slipping from a box car. He was struck by the train and died en route to Marinette hospital. The accident occurred yesterday and left his crew and family in mourning.
