Mrs Evelyn Romadka former wife of Milwaukee trunk maker Charles J Romadka was released from Joliet penitentiary on secret parole issued December 15. Convicted two years ago of stealing 7900 dollars in jewelry from Mrs Clarence Beck she was once a Milwaukee society figure nicknamed Raffies. A black man Albert T Jones linked to several robberies with her was also paroled recently but rearrested and returned to prison.
