Dwight Thomas Dies at 92 in Oshkosh Wisconsin
Dwight Thomas died at his home in Oshkosh aged ninety two. He was born in 1919 at Browns Track north of Rome New York. He and his father owned and operated the first ferry between New York and Canada near Ogdensburg. He married in 1846 to Miss Lydia Edwards of Guelph Canada. The couple settled in Wisconsin and moved to Oshkosh in 1950 where he resided. Funeral services were held at Madison Street today with Rev. Mr. Peterson officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were B P Bangs James Conlee John Nice and G J Ream.
