New Haven Conn reports a drunken disturbance at Bunnell's Museum led to cries of fire and a brief pandemonium. An officer attempted arrest, a boy jumped from a gallery, others were torn or damaged. many were slightly injured, no serious harm. The manager and Mrs Nallywood appealed for calm.
In Sumnerville Georgia on Christmas Eve, Mrs. Francis David killed Mrs. Lizzie Way with scissors at a festival after a disputed love triangle involving Mrs. Way and Mrs. David's husband, a Baltimore drummer. Mrs. David suffered a hysterical breakdown and was jailed. bail was refused. Mrs. Way's husband was in Alabama, and a possible confrontation between the men looms.
A Guthrie County Des Moines Northwestern Railway agent was wounded when a robber seized a package of 33,000 in currency sent by Valley National Bank to Guthrie County Bank.
