Wallace Le Roy de Wolf, 77, a well known artist idle in health and despondent after Christmas confinement to bed, shot himself in the head in his Pasadena bedroom as his nurse left to fetch breakfast. A trustee of the Chicago Art Institute and recently VP and director of the Pasadena Art Institute, he had made the winter home in Pasadena for several years.
