Funeral of Mrs Elien C Harrison Held at Sister's Home
The funeral for Mrs Elien C Ives Harrison was held at her sister Mrs M S Rive 26 Pleasant avenue Tuesday at two o'clock Rev Edward Y H Smith of First Congregational church officiated. Interment followed in Mendon Illinois. Born in Barkhampsfield Connecticut in 1820 she married Nathan B Harrison and came to Chicago in 1855. She later lived with her son in Denver and St Louis then Oak Park before passing Sunday evening at eight o'clock in Oshkosh. Survived by sister Mrs Rice two sons Nathan I Harrison and William H Harrison and daughter Mrs E J Whitehead. She was a devout member of Leagitt Street Congregational church.
