Curt Herford, 23, of Northport, Wis., to be arraigned in Appleton on charges of robbing Shipton State Bank of about 200 to 500 dollars. He confessed to the July heist, claimed debt and rent motivated the crime, and was caught after a Chicago and Northwestern train stop near Clintonville. He turned over 178.69 to officials and said he would join the navy. He was taken to Outagamie County jail and a signed confession was obtained.
