Divorces Granted In County Court This Morning
Two divorces were granted by Judge Keglinger. Rosetta Pontumeraning won a decree of separation from Henry Pommeraning for cruel and inhuman treatment. A seventeen year old boy stays with his mother and a fourteen year old with the father. Pommeraning must pay $1,600 cash and furnish furnishings and cover costs. They were married April 6, 1892, in Mack Wolf and have three sons. In the second case Elisabeth Van Houten was granted a divorce from Charles Van Houten and may resume her former name Harriet Jeden. Household furniture and other property are vested in Elisabeth. Charles did not answer the complaint filed on cruelty and non-support. Charles had recently been ordered to leave the city after a vagrancy charge. The couple were married August 31, 1878.
