County Crash Fatal for Two in Winnebago County
Two women died in a Sunday afternoon crash at the 41 County Trunk J intersection in Oshkosh Town. Julia O. Sommer of Neenah age 77 and Henry Becker of Brillion age 69 were killed. Becker’s husband drove the other car with three injured. The 1960 four-door vehicles collided broadside as Holliday of Michigan claimed to slow but not stop. three others in his car and a passenger in Becker’s vehicle were hospitalized. Coroner and sheriff discussed inquest. toll rose to 13 deaths overall.

Explosion Fatal For Cheesemaker
COLEMAN AP An explosion of undetermined origin killed one man and injured another at Badger State Cheese Co today. Melvin Conrad 47 of Coleman was killed Wayne Murrah 20 of Coleman suffered minor injuries. Factory Manager Kenneth Olson said a cream separator Conrad operated caused the blast. The electrical separator was full of water and shattered adjoining tanks and equipment. The blast shook nearby houses. Olson estimated the separator worth 2200 dollars but could not estimate total damage.

Gunmen Kill Police Officer in Lake Delton Shootout
