Princeton School Board elects Garro president at meeting
Dr S J Garro was elected president of Princeton Joint District No 2 school board at Princeton High School. Other officers were re elected treasurer Mrs John Hotmar and clerk Clarence Oelke. The district settled $1500 final payment in a lawsuit with Crotteau Plumbing Co and Oeldenhoeven Construction Co. A fuel oil contract went to Washkoviak Frederick. Milk contract split between Bordens and Sealtest after identical bids.

Two Hurt in Rural Waupaca Vehicle Mishap
Two persons were hospitalized after a car truck collision six miles south of Waupaca on Camp Cleghorn Road. The truck driven by Benjamin Hirte was backing from a driveway and struck a vehicle operated by Eugene Tess, who was backing from a driveway on the opposite side of the road. Investigating officer John Bonnell said Tess complained of injuries.

Last Sermon Set Sunday By Rev. Brockopp
NESHKORO The Rev W G Brockopp pastor of Zion Lutheran Church Neshkoro will preach his farewell sermon at the 9 o clock service Sunday morning. He will leave the congregation Aug 31 and retire as a minister of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. The congregation marked the 40th anniversary of his ordination last year. He was graduated from Concordia Seminary Springfield Illinois in 1923 and served multiple Wisconsin parishes before 1955. Pastor and Mrs Brockopp have four children. They will move to Park Prairie Minnesota to make their future home.

Mrs Jones of Wild Rose is described as born August 15 1863 in Rose town. She was the eldest of nine siblings and the sole U.S. native. Parents hailed from Lanfaes Angleset North Wales. She was the oldest member of Wild Rose United Presbyterian Church and married to the late Hugh Jones. Her children include Robert Jota Thom and Mrs John Ross of Sturgeon Bay.
