Nationalist Red Frogmen Clash Off Quemoy Island

Fishermen and swimmers from Nationalist China and Communist forces fought underwater near Quemoy in what was described as history s first fish fight. No casualties were reported though clashes lasted about ten minutes with divers reaching depths of twenty five feet.

Soviets claim Nautilus voyage as war prep
