Ex-felon admits killing three holdup victims in eight days

Francis H. Bloeth 27, described as a husky construction worker with a psychiatric record, confessed to Suffolk County prosecutors as the so called mad killer. He claimed the rifles and pistol were thrown into Lake Ronkonkoma and a ditch beside a county road. Castro Forces Smash Invasion Near Trinidad Cuba

The Cuban government announced it defeated an airborne invasion from the Dominican Republic. The final blow came when troops captured a Dominican C36 transport plane near Trinidad, with four attackers killed. Lt Col Antonio Soto and Capt Betan cart were named among those aboard.
