George Elliott Porter two years ten months son of Mr and Mrs W H Porter of 42 Pleasant Avenue died at 4 49 this morning at home following a bout with intestinal tuberculosis after suspected typhoid fever. Funeral services Sunday at 2 00 pm at the residence with Rev I Farmer of the First B church officiating. Interment Monday morning at 9 53 in Janesville. Mrs Porter and her parents Mr and Mrs W E Spicer have been visiting here for a week.
In circuit court Judge George W. Burnell granted Grace E. Snell a divorce from Marcellus H. H. Snell for marital unfaithfulness and lack of support. They wed in March 1853 and have two children, aged four and one. Custody awarded to Mrs Snell with all household goods and $5 cash. Snell did not defend. Residents of the city.
