The Wisconsin development authority announced 15 bids on the first section of the Tri state Power cooperative transmission line in southwestern Wisconsin. The 185 mile line will supply wholesale electricity to REA coops in Grant Lafayette Monroe and Crawford counties from the Tri state steam plant to be built near Genoa. Fort Wayne Indiana United States Marshal Walter Felger said Miller a 21 year old former Racine resident who will die in the electric chair at Michigan City next Wednesday has withdrawn invitations to witnesses and will die unattended except for prison officials.
