An Evening Wisconsin Special from Appleton reports George Moder of Dale, a farmer, was feeding a threshing machine on his farm at 11 o'clock this morning when his arm was drawn into the machine and ground off at the shoulder. He was brought by automobile to Milwaukee for treatment and given a good chance for recovery.
William Wall, longtime Chicago and Northwestern railway letter carrier, was found faint and carried from the gatehouse on Ceipo and Ofler streets to his rooms at 160 Main Street after an afternoon illness. Police accompanied the ambulance.
