GREEN BAY AP A 20 year old inmate of the Wisconsin State Reformatory died from chest and head wounds after a washroom altercation with a juvenile inmate. Holdup Men Get $7,500 At State Bank
Four armed bandits held five people at gunpoint for about 20 minutes and robbed the State Bank of Roberts in Roberts Wisconsin of about 7500 dollars Tuesday. Ralph Peterson an ex executive vice president said three armed men entered the bank and emptied cash drawers. They could not open the main vault due to a time lock and forced four employees and a customer to lie in the basement. A fourth gunman then warned it was late and they fled in a blue Oldsmobile Toronado and a white Ford van. Roberts lies in St Croix County about 10 miles from the Mississippi River.
