Pratt ended with various sums and a foreclosure against Janes F. Bachanay and Annie Buchanan on the Ninth ward property projected to settle by February 28, 1907.
Andrew M. Jacobsen resigns after nine years as general manager at Jones Dire Goods to join Topliff Dry Goods as an active partner and stockholder. He brings extensive experience from Clark Brothers Berlin, William Teard, Frough & Topliff, and Shields, dating back to 1883 in the dry goods trade.
John Oaks, longtime candy maker and operator of the confectionery and ice cream parlor on Main Street, has sold the business to F. W. Kratz of Winona Minnesota. Kratz will assume charge next Wednesday April 12 with planned equipment upgrades. Oaks will retire from active work for a period and may take other positions.
Mrs Edward Scherck of 164 Sixth Street died Friday afternoon at 4 30 at her home at age twenty seven. Survived by husband two brothers Simon Kellerman and Frank Kellerman. Funeral Monday morning at St Vincent's Church with interment at Riverside.
