Wisconsin votes erase 118 year old justice of the peace
In a low turnout election amid damp skies Wisconsin voters approved three constitutional amendments. They erased the 118 year old office of justice of the peace and allowed short term active duty service for lawmakers and financing flexibility for public utilities. The votes also reapportioned county supervisors in 70 counties and saw incumbents lose in several mayoral races.
