Five Army fliers dead in wrecked bomber near Langley Field
In a tangled wreckage five airmen were found dead after a storm drove their twin engine bomber off course and into the Blue Mountains on the return flight from Cleveland. Names listed include Lieut Stetson Brown and Lt Johns bury along with Ernest Endy Peter J Yost Paul Amspaugh Arthur Metz. Charred remains were moved to an undertaker in Lebanon under guard as salvage continued.
