Dur ham Central Agricultural Fair Draws Near 4000

The 60th annual Orono fair drew about four thousand attendees with 2600 paid entries. Livestock saw strong horse classes and full cattle divisions, while sheep swine and poultry also displayed good displays. Spectacular finish in dual horse races draws crowd

Two classified heats counted nine horses with a dramatic last heat in the final race where three contenders separated by a head at the wire.
