Nursing Assistant Training Courses Open in Ontario Centers
Recent graduates praise a nine month program run jointly by the Departments of Health for Toronto Hamilton and Kingston. Trainees receive 60 dollars monthly, provide own maintenance, and are paid transportation costs. Fresh uniforms are supplied and the course combines classroom instruction with hospital experience. Eligibility includes Grade 8 education health status and ages 18 to 40. The fifth course began September 2.
