Heather Rebekah Lodge No. 334 presided by Sister Lola Kennedy held a regular meeting Tuesday evening. The sick and shut-ins report was given, donations were approved for L.O.O.F. and Rebekah Home and the TB Christmas seal fund. Christmas party planned for December 14 at 6 30 PM at the Dutch Oven and the annual Bazaar set for December 4 at 2 30 PM in the LO.O.F. Hall with strong member effort noted. Birthday greetings were given to Sister Mildred Fainey before adjournment and luncheon in the dining hall.

Orono to Install Artificial Ice Rink This Winter
The Orono Artificial Ice Committee plans an artificial rink this winter. Work on floor leveling and headliner exit from the basement proceeds. Plastic piping is ordered to arrive this month for installation with volunteer work crews to help. D Clark reports part of the freezing unit secured and rest due in two weeks as funds rise to about 7 300 to 7 400 dollars. Weekly work bees are scheduled Saturdays at the rink.
