Clarke Township Conservative Association Re-elects Officers
The Clarke Township Conservative Association held its annual meeting at Orono Town Hall on Monday November 14 with the largest turnout in years. Officers for 1988 were re-elected with T A Reid as President Hartwell Lowery as 1st Vice President and Miss Jenny Thompson as Vice President. The association voted to drop the word Liberal from its name and stand as Clarke Township Conservative Association. Delegates were named to the Toronto convention December 8 9 with T A Reid and Hartley Lowery named, and a full slate of officers and sub divisions listed.

Car crash snaps hydro pole near Crono
