Orono and district filled the hall for the Rogerson School of Dancing second annual variety show. Local children ages six to sixteen performed ballet tap and comedy in thirty two acts with vivid costumes and stage decor. The Orono Bantam Baseball team won their first game since formation in 1958, beating Kendal 23 to 21. Bob Wetherup pitched four innings and Doug Gamsby the final two. fielding was poor but hitting was solid. Uniforms expected for next game. first home game set for Monday evening, June 14.
