Orono Cemetery Lot Owners held their annual meeting January 28 in the town hall. The auditors’ report shows the company sound. Officers were re elected for 1948: President H Louch Vice President E J Hamm Secretary Treasurer Chas F Awde with a board including R R Waddell C T Miller R H Brown E E Patterson F W Tamblyn James Nixon. The perpetual care drive raised nearly 3500 last year and the fund now totals 18500 invested in bonds. Financial statement shows 4043.22.
