Liberal Executive Meeting Sees James Address Farming and Ports
John M. James, M P for Durham, spoke before the Durham County Liberal Association in Port Hope. He warned Port Hope Whitby and Cobourg would not become major St Lawrence Seaway ports soon and urged action on regional marketing boards while outlining wheat policy and a national hospitalization plan. He predicted a June 1957 federal election and a Liberal victory if the country stays on course.
