Mosport Turn Down Bids For Purchase
Debenture holders rejected the majority of bids for Mosport race track in Ontario and asked the Ontario Supreme Court Masters for guidance. The highest bid was 165 000 by Track and Traffic magazine on behalf of Peter Lerch of Montreal, with cash terms. The track sits north of Tirano on 500 acres with some buildings and no grandstand. the British Empire Motor club favors continued racing.
