Ambrose Q. Finlay, 76, longtime Fort William resident, died March 12 after a two month illness. Born in Kendal Ontario in 1877, he served in the Canadian Militia and worked 28 years for Lake of the Woods Milling Company before retirement in 1946. He lived in Fort William 36 years and was active in Wesley United Church and local Orange Lodge.
