Noodled Geese A Fatting Method From USDA Report
A USDA prepared article describes stuffing geese with noodles to produce a much fattier market bird. Geese are fed 3 to 5 noodles three times daily, later increasing to six or seven noodles five times daily, using a mix of cornmeal oats barley and wheat flour, boiled briefly and rolled in flour then fedWarm water kept handy. Noodled geese reach 25 26 pounds on average with some near 40 pounds.
