Electric railway idea links lakes and towns in Steuben
The Standard reports a proposed electric line through northern Steuben County from Orland to Pioneer via Camden and a previously graded bed from Mansfield to Benton Harbor. The plan highlights Lakes Clear Lake and surrounding resorts, and notes Camden as a thriving trade center with mills and factories. Swinehart and Keith plan preliminary surveys beginning Tuesday to evaluate a feasible route.
