Magnificent Lady's History Still Sails in the Midwest
Midwest resident John Gerace owns the ship's wheel from the five masted schooner Cressy. The wheel, recovered from Bath Maine, is set in his Palos Hills apartment awaiting conversion into a dining table. The Cressy, dubbed Queen of the Atlantic Seaboard after a 1924 storm, survived while two companion ships sank.
