Referendum Sought by Clackamas Granges Delegates Named
At a county Grange convention in Clackamas County on Tuesday, a resolution urged bringing a referendum to bear on the compulsory pass law. George Ogle led the resolution which earned unanimous support as delegates to the Hood River state Grange convention were elected. Judge Thomas F. Ryan noted opposition to passes tied to eminent domain and said the Granges would pursue the initiative if the referendum fails.
