Mills Start Up Monday at Willamette and Crown mills

The Willamette and Crown paper mills plan to resume operations Monday after a ten days shutdown. Repairs completed during the stoppage are expected to restore full production on the three regular shifts.

Slow or Speedy Car Service Planned to Portland

The P Ry L P Co announces a special car to run from Portland to Oregon City at one o'clock Friday night to attend New Year festivities. A regular hourly auto service between Oregon City and Portland will start with three coaches as soon as finished, linking Portland, Vancouver and Gresham editions.

Molalla Plans Big Railroad Welcome February Second

Molalla will host a large welcome for the Willamette Valley Southern Railroad with a midnight train arrival and a concert by the O A Glee Club. A reception for the glee club and visitors will follow, with most events indoors at the newly built Molalla Band Auditorium due to weather. Oregon City residents expect to travel to Molalla for the celebration and the new line promises eight daily trains and lower rates.
