Death of Mrs Pfeister Aged 78 in New Era
The funeral for Mrs Annie Pfeister of New Era was held Tuesday from her home after she died Sunday. Interment followed at the Catholic cemetery. She had long operated the old Half-way hotel between Portland and Salem and was well known to travelers. She was 78 years old.
