Fire destroys Oregon City Furniture plant in suspected arson
A Friday night blaze gutted the Oregon City Furniture Company plant, damaging adjacent homes and stores. Three horses kept by Frank Busch were killed despite efforts to save them, and the incident follows a prior attachment on the business. Estimated loss runs to about fifteen thousand dollars with little insurance. buildings owned by Busch.

Apple Show Moves to Oregon City Exhibition

Olen S. Dalen, born September 3 1872 in Goodhue County Minnesota, died recently and was buried Tuesday afternoon from his home in Canby. Rev Resping officiated at the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery where interment followed the service. Dalen, who came to Canby in 1884, was a longtime resident and community member.
