Train wreck near Buchanan kills engineer in Georgia
A Central of Georgia passenger train derailed three miles south of Buchanan, Georgia, after a spike was driven between rails. Engineer Samuel Ayers of Cedartown died at the scene, fireman Will Solomon of Littleton was fatally injured, and about twenty others were shaken.
