The May 4 1905 oath of office for Hillsboro town officers was administered by Major D H Hamilton. Newly elected Mayor Joseph A Harrie and Commissioners Wm A Hayes Strudwick Stephen E Cole Calvin R Lassiter and George C Lynch were chosen. Clerk Arthur W Ray Treasurer George A Durham and Constable Thomas A Dickson were appointed. Committees named and next meeting set for May 15 with notes on local notices and upcoming events.
