The issue lists advertising rates, shop items, and local notices including court and town meetings. Highlights: county commissioners meet July 3, Hodgptheps trip to Clio, university and college notices, Bank of Orange dividend, a Hillsboro telephone franchise granted, dispensary election call, and various ads from Brown & Co, W Hayes Drugstore, and Mssrs Webb.
On September 5, 1904 the land in Orange County was sold by the Sheriff for taxes and purchased by the claimant as the last and highest bidder. If Jerry Wilson or heirs do not settle the taxes and costs by September 5, 1905, the claimant will claim title to the land. Dated May 29, 1908.
The Orange County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday July 10 1905 at the Hillsboro court house to revise tax lists and hear complaints. Persons with claims regarding property valuation are notified to appear before the Board on that day. By order of the Board John F McAdams chairman. Is Your Town Property.

Local ads: dried fruit buyers N W Brown & Co and notice about Miss Lilian Chandler traveling home from Oxford for appendicitis recovery.
