Announcement in Hillsboro paper signals Sheriff bid by Bain

CA SWOTAr Bears the The Kind You Have Always Signature ANNOUNCEMENT. I respectfully ask my Democratic friends to cast their vote for me in the primaries on July 23d for Sheriff of Orange County. I feel compelled to make this public an nouncement to refute the persistent rumor that I have withdrawn from the race. My duties as Superintendent of the County Home demand my presence at home most of the time and make it impossible for me to make a personal canvass, but I am in the race all the same, and that to the finish. I shall appreciate very highly any support my friends may give me. I promise my friends that if I am nominated and elected, that I will make my home at Hillsboro. ROBERT D. BAIN.
