Public notice states M F Crawford et al deed of trust to G J Cooper trustee recorded in Orange County licensing public sale at Hillsboro courthouse on March 9 1908 at noon. Also reports death of Miss Mamie Wilson aged about 42 of Hillsboro and funeral details. Local notices include L M Paint advert and County Commissioners meeting March 2.
The Bank of Orange Hillsboro North Carolina reports assets totaling 92457.99 with deposits 50162.14 and certificates 32259.81 and lists a February 25 1908 sworn statement by cashier C Collins. The notice also advertises March 9 1908 sale of two Orange County tracts on Collins Creek with cash terms and legal details. D H Hamilton Clerk of the Superior Court and Rose & Rose serve as trustees and attorneys.
The Orange County Board of Commissioners approved numerous accounts at the February 3 2008 regular meeting.
