The Commissioner of the Superior Court of Orange County will sell at public auction a Hillsboro land lot tied to the case of C G Holt v J T Shaw and Ellie Shaw. The sale, held at the Hillsboro courthouse, follows a foreclosure decree dated February 11 1901. The lot borders Thomas D Tinnin and others and measures detailed by fixed bearings and streets. Proceeds go to highest cash bidder.
A large gathering witnessed the marriage of Miss Annis Rosemond to Mr John A. Vaughan at St Matthew's Church on February 6. The ceremony was by Rev Paxson Watters with music by Miss Sue Hayes.
