Hillsboro Township plans a April 16 1907 vote on issuing forty thousand dollars in bonds to macadamize roads. Registration runs March 14 to April 6 with no new registration required. Ballot options read For Good Roads Bond Issue and Against Good Roads Bond Issue.
John Washington of Bosquesville Texas faced blood poisoning and leg loss from a spider bite. He credits Bucklen's Arnica Salve with healing the sores after four boxes and urges others to try it. Sold at W A Hayes drug store.
Mr Walter C Lloyd, a young white man, died suddenly from heart failure while riding with his uncle W P Lloyd in Chapel Hill township last Sunday. Caldwell Institute, N C, advertised a Gooey Blacksmith position with applications directed to W J Miller.
Obituary notes the death of Mr John W Harrigind Tiarnison of Pampa on March 26 1907 at age about two years. Survived by wife Miss Dairy Rudin and daughter of Peter Browne Ruffin. Funeral held at St Matthews Church with Rev S Paxson Watters officiating. Interment in Ruffin plot. Pallbearers listed. attendance included out of town relatives from Virginia and Roanoke.
The Legislature appointed four magistrates for six year terms in Tange county. The appointees are WVOW Pendergrass of Chapel Hill Township, A L Holden of Eno Township, 8 5 Webb of Bingham Township, and Joseph A Harris of Hillsboro Township.
